Twilight Zone LIVE: Season 9!!

I’m involved in TWO weekends of the Twilight Zone Live: Season 9 at The Dark Room…
The series will kick off at 8pm on June 1 with “Starlight Supply,” written by Shawn O’Shea and Rod Serling’d by Elaine Gavin (whom you might remember as Karen Hill in Goodfellas: LIVE!), and directed by Becky Hirschfeld!!!!  It would mean a buttload to me if you came to this, as I’ve never directed for the theater before, plus the play (staring Craig Souza and The Dark Room’s very own Jim Fourniadis) is really clever and entertaining.
Week four will feature “From Agnes with Love,” an updated version of the original Twilight Zone episode, directed by Rhiannon Charisse.  I play two characters; I’ll be portraying a sentient machine for the second time in my acting career and a hapless nerd for the umpteenth time.  The show is absolutely hilarious and I recommend it to everyone, and I’ll recommend it even harder to anyone who has heard of the Internet, the Mission, and/or Dr Who.
Tickets are $20 at the door, which is located on Mission between 18th and 19th.  You can also buy tickets online at https://www.ticketturtle.com/index.php?show=28023.  June 1-30, 2012. Doors at 7:30, shows at 8pm.
The Twilight Zone Live is a fundraiser for my very favorite theater in this universe.  If you don’t feel like seeing my shows, go see everyone else’s (there are two episodes per night, plus different Rods and “commercials”).  They’re all going to be spectacular.

The Wrong Dick: Backstage!

Always a laugh riot with a coupla dead hoo-ers.

"Maybe if I show off my impressive dance skills, Craig will finally notice me," hopes Photo Becky.

Calliope essentially killed us.

It was like looking into a mirror.  A big, French mirror.

I don't even know, man.

Jon Snow

There's good a reason behind it.

Program bio, The Wrong Dick

Becky Hirschfeld (Hairy Henrietta/Monica Hernandez understudy) recently quit her day job to pursue acting full time, and now she's a dead, hairy hooker. But don't worry, Becky's parents, soon she'll direct Starlight Supply for the Twilight Zone series and will appear in Murielle's Big Date and The Fifth Element later this year. The Wrong Dick

Ham Pants Productions presents...

Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in May at The Dark Room.

The SF Weekly liked us, and Sean Kelly (whom you might remember as Dr Strangelove in Dr Strangelove: Live!) said we were "better than Cats," which means a lot to me, because I freaking love that musical.

Also, this is the first time my name or face has ever appeared on promotional material and I'm super stoked.

Maelstrom II

I've just been cast as Earth Operator in Maelstron II and I'm sooooper excited.  The audition was where ILM used to be and they had a Jurassic Park pinball machine.

(I used the Polaroid fx on my computer phone to give it an old timey look!)

Goodfellas: Live!

Goodfellas: Live! (at The Dark Room, of course) has one more week before closing.  Jason, who watches movies, saw it and wrote a brief review.  I understudied the first weekend and then resumed my role as Assistant Director/Stage Manager.  Here I am with Jay Huston (aka Tommy DeVito aka Kirk from Star Trek: Live!) on a very hot day.  Photo by Sean Wigglesworth.

Program bio, Goodfellas Live!

Becky Hirschfeld (Assistant Director/Understudy to Alexia Staniotes) has appeared in many plays at the Dark Room, including Star Trek, Beetlejuice, and Dr Strangelove (all Live!), and she's happy to make her behind-the-scenes debut in Goodfellas. She'll be acting in The Wrong Dick next month and will direct Starlight Supply for the Summer Twilight Zone series, both also at the Dark Room. When not working/hanging out at her very favorite theater ever ever, Becky enjoys paper art and contributing to the internet:oftenon.tumblr.com

Sparks McGee Riding a Badass Space Unicorn

Theoretical Star Trek fan art.

I never had a problem with Wesley Crusher... could you imagine being a genius teenager living on a ship with your hot mom who scolds you over the PA system?  It would make anyone kinda bratty sometimes.

That time traveler guy was kinda creepy, though...

Anyway, now that I no longer have a steady job, this is going to give me a good opportunity to start working on the Babes of Star Trek series that I've been planning.  I think it might be a mobile.

Such a Square...

Do you live in Baltimore, Cleveland, or San Diego?  Let me know if you see me in a commercial...

(That shirt is super nice--I saw it on an episode of Suburgatory, too!  Also, did you notice they married me for the shoot?)

I got really good at not buying burritos OR mission dogs.  Also, comfy sweater

I'm sure whatever I was saying was very amusing
