Program bio, Sigh-Fi

Becky Hirschfeld, a Bay Area native, has been acting for over 20 years  She has performed in plays (“Estelle” in No Exit, "Victoria" in Christopher Durang's Titanic), comedic web shorts (The Twitter Bar, Sally Cohen Discusses Music), industrial videos for local companies and organizations, and most notably, as the female lead in the cable access sitcom Space Wasters. She studied Humanities and Drama at San Francisco State University, where she was also a member of the Brown Bag Theatre Company, and currently takes Cinema classes at City College of San Francisco. Becky is a huge science-fiction fan and is extremely excited to be a part of SIGH-FI. When not writing about herself in the third person, Becky enjoys drawing, reading, playing in the band The Crushing Darkness, and producing short videos.  Her favorite Star Trek series is Deep Space Nine.
